Darryl Andrew Kile - 1968-2002

dkastros.jpg

This page is dedicated to the memory of all of us that we wish to remember.

In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 22, 2002, the sporting world lost a great person, pitcher and friend when Darryl Kile of the St. Louis Cardinals passed away in his sleep. I met Darryl when he began playing for the Houston Astros in 1991 and always found him to be a genuine, wonderful person. DK - you are already missed more than you'll ever know.

And in loving memory of my Grandfather, Donald Huff
August 25, 1931 - August 5, 1999 and my Great-Grandmother, Ruth Spivey August 13, 1910 - January 9, 2000.

Fall leaves

Please Remember Me
as recorded by Tim McGraw

All our tears have reached the sea.

Part of you will live in me,

Way down deep inside my heart

The days keep coming without fail.

New wind is gonna find your sail

That's where your journey starts.

You'll find better love,

Strong as it ever was,

Deep as the river runs,

Warm as the morning sun,

But please, remember me.

Like the waves down by the shore

We're gonna keep on coming back for more.

Cause we don't ever wanna stop.

Out in this brave new world you'll see

Over the valleys and the peaks.

And I can see you on the top.

You'll find better love,

Strong as it ever was,

Deep as the river runs,

Warm as the morning sun,

But please, remember me

Remember me when you're out walking.

When snow falls high outside your door.

Late at night when you're not sleeping,

And moonlight falls across your floor...

And I can't hurt you anymore.

You'll find better love,

Strong as it ever was,

Deep as the river runs,

Warm as the morning sun,

But please, remember me

Please remember me.
